Fine Print

Here’s the fine print. See how it’s smaller? We think you’ll agree it’s pretty reasonable and straightforward:

• Call us within five (5) days of your delivery or pickup for NO OOPS returns.

• NO OOPS returns must be in original condition from a smoke-free environment.

• Due to state law regarding re-sale of bedding, mattresses cannot be returned.

• Delivery charges are not refundable.

• Connell’s Furniture warranty is offered to the original purchaser only for one (1) year from the date of delivery within our normal delivery area.

• Connell’s Furniture warranty does not cover damage to your furniture caused by improper handling, accidents, abuse, misuse, neglect, improper use or any other bad thing you do to it. Please do not try to blame us when your dog destroys your furniture or it falls off the back of your pickup truck. We promised to cover defects; you promise to admit damage. We can tell the difference. We can still help you with finely skilled technicians at reasonable rates.

• If the manufacturer’s warranty is longer than Connell’s Furniture one-year warranty, you will receive warranted parts at no charge but you will be charged for labor to install those parts or make necessary repairs.

• Connell’s Furniture warranty covers the following (take a deep breath): wood frames, legs, springs, spring mountings, seams, buttons, sleeper mechanisms, rocker mechanisms and filling materials within upholstered furniture; glued, screwed, nailed or stapled joints on all wood type furniture; structural defects such as wood frames, springs and border wires on mattresses and box springs; and ticking or fabrics on all sleep products.

• Fabrics are not warranted against defects or workmanship.

• Connell’s Furniture warranty is void on all merchandise sold “AS IS.”

• All bedding warranties are void if the bedding is stained. Need we say more?

• Connell’s Furniture will repair or replace warranted items at our option. If an exact replacement is not available, we’ll help you find an item of equal value.

• Connell’s Furniture will not pay you back for any expenses you incur in servicing warranted items unless you have a note from your Mommy, um, make that a written statement from Connell’s Furniture.

• Here’s to all the lawyers out there, especially ours: “Connell’s Furniture makes no warranties beyond the description on the face hereof, unless otherwise stated in writing by Connell’s Furniture. Connell’s Furniture expressly disclaims any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.”

• Layaways require a 25% down payment on the date of purchase followed by a 25% payment on Day 30, Day 60 and Day 90. Layaways must be paid in full and scheduled for delivery within 90 days from the date of purchase.

• If you want us to store a purchase that is being financed, the financing terms will begin on the date of your purchase.

To sum it all up, we’ll do whatever we can to make you happy. It’s just furniture, but it’s what we do.
